Can you see the tree frog in the picture? We live in an old farmhouse, so I was not too surprised today when a tree frog showed up inside our house. Since it's a tree frog, I took it outside and put it on the bark of a tree, then got my camera to get this picture. Shortly after I clicked the photo, the tree frog jumped to the ground. I picked it up and put it back on the tree, it jumped again.
Then, I picked it up again and it seemed so content just to sit in my hand. It occured to me that since my hand was warm, it preferred it to the tree bark. This cooler fall weather must be encouraging the little tree frog to find a cozy spot to hang out. I put it down in some taller grass at the base of the tree. Hopefully it can burrow down there and stay warm for a while. What a cute little critter!
